Until 23 November 2008, the MCB will be marking its ten years with various activities, events, and seminars. This is an opportunity for all to participate in this introspection and help vision a dynamic British Muslim community for the next decade. The Muslim Council of Britain is a representative Muslim umbrella body with over 500 affiliated national, regional and local organisations, mosques, charities and schools. The MCB is pledged to work for the common good of society as a whole. It is an independent body that conducts its affairs with openness and transparency and in accordance with a constitution, without fear or favour. |
