You are cordially invited to attend this important conference to learn about what the Quran and Hadith say about the actions of ISIS and the negative impact this has on the Muslim community. The Assistant Secretary General of the MCB, Mrs Ameena Blake, will be speaking at the event.

Many Muslim scholars across the UK have condemned the violent actions of ISIS and other extremist groups and reject the false claim that it represents mainstream Islamic thought or practice. At this conference prominent scholars from the three schools of thought in Kirklees will provide their perspective on what is happening in Iraq and Syria. Speakers will include those who are from Syria/Iraq; have had contact; or been involved in charitable work in Syria/Iraq
