Description:	A national demonstration has been called in London this Saturday 24 November. The demonstration will assemble at 12 noon at Downing Street to ensure David Cameron is aware that the people of the UK do not support his position of justifying Israel's war on Gaza. We will then march to the Israeli embassy to stand in solidarity with Gaza. Despite promises to open crossings, Gaza is still illegally blockaded by Israel. There are no signs that the underlying injustices facing the Palestinians are being addressed. Their suffering continues. Shamiul Joarder, Head of Public Affairs at FOA recently returned from Gaza. He said 'The people of Gaza do not want our aid, they want us to raise our voices for them and demand our government acts to ensure justice is achieved for Palestine. Palestinians watch us on the streets of the UK and they feel they are not alone, this act of solidarity is the least we can do'.
