| I like climbing the Hills! Thu 01 Jul 2004 |
Aadam aged 8 wrote this poem following a trip with his family to the majestic countryside of Fort William, Scotland. In our busy lives it is often easy to forget the natural beauty of God's creation. Here we take a moment to reflect, through the eyes of a child, on the wonders of God's creation.
I like climbing the hills
So I can see the views
I like climbing the hills
So I can see the lambs with their ewes
I like climbing the hills
So I can hear the birds chatter
I like climbing the hills
To hear the waters gentle pitter patter
I like climbing the hills
So I can see the snow covered peaks
I like climbing the hills
I remember this for weeks.
Aadam
