| Queen's Welcome Christmas Day Message
Sun 26 Dec 2004
|
The traditional Christmas Day message delivered by Her Majesty The Queen focused this year on the theme of promoting tolerance and valuing diversity. In her message she emphasised that, `diversity is indeed a strength and not a threat'. Interspersed throughout the message were clips of The Queen and other members of the Royal family meeting with and talking to members of the diverse ethnic and religious groupings which constitute Britain in the 21st century. Dr Abdul Bari, Assistant Secretary General of the MCB and Imam Sajjid are amongst those who are highlighted.
