1st Ethical Charitable Trust largely focuses its energies on three main areas for the time being:

1. To further charitable sadqa-e-jariah projects by responding to emergency relief and aid work in war torn and poverty stricken regions;
2. To work with and support such organisations within the UK who are working towards protecting and promoting the needs of the Muslim community with a focus on media and politics
3. To promote educational projects and to educate the wider Muslim community particularly on issues related to Islamic finance and Islamic Wills and inheritance and other related issues. This is achieved through regional and national seminars and programmes;

At this moment in time, in order to achieve one of its educational needs, 1st Ethical Charitable Trust wishes to concentrate on educating and promoting the important issue of inheritance and will writing. This we intend to carry out via the UK seminar programme.

In this regard we have arranged for the 1st Islamic Wills Seminar Programme to be held at East London Mosque on Sat 23rd Dec 2006. Please see attached poster.
