The Muslim Council of Britain's Youth Committee are looking to recruit 15 new members for 2010 from across the UK. The recruitment will be regionally focused to increase regional reach.
As well as regional co-ordination, the representatives will have central responsibilities of leading projects and campaigns.
The Representative roles available are:
London (North, East, South, West)
North East
North West
Yorkshire and the Humber
East Midlands
East of England
South East
South West
West Midlands
Wales
Scotland
Northern Ireland
As part of our ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of Muslim leaders, youth committee members will be provided with structured learning which includes learning workshops and visits, leadership development programmes, learning sessions, media training, international leadership opportunities and others.
Criteria and Application:
Age range: 16 25 (although we are flexible)
We are very keen to have individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds from within the Muslim Community (including both male and female)
