This book is written by Harun Yahya. He was born in Ankara in Turkey in 1956.This book is an interesting Islamic book written for children aged 9 to 14 years I say this because it has some difficult words.
Overall, I liked the book as it taught me some interesting facts about animals and plants. The stories teach good morals through verses from the Holy Qur'an.
My favourite story was 'There's good in everything'. I liked this story because the boy Ali in the story was just like me! Ali was a good boy, but he used to get depressed and worried thinking that something bad might happen to him. One day Ali comes back from school very happy. His mother asked him, `Why are you so happy Ali?' Ali answered, `At the weekend I'm going on a picnic with my class'. He then went upstairs to do his homework.
Suddenly a thought came to him; he thought that if he was sick at the weekend, he would not be able to go on the trip. He became depressed. Just then his Dad got home from work so his Mum called him down for dinner.
At the dinner table Ali was looking sad so his Dad asked him, `Why are you feeling sad Ali?' Ali told him why he was feeling sad. His Dad told him that bad thoughts came from the Devil and reminded him to turn to God for help whenever he got bad thoughts.
