Manchester will host the launch of the Muslim Council of Britain's national Books 4 Schools initiative later this week. The line up of impressive speakers and performers includes Iqbal Sacranie, Secretary General of the MCB, Ajmal Masrur of the Islamic Society of Britain and Chief Guest for the evening is Mick Waters, Manchester's Chief Education Officer. With a three-course meal on offer and entertainment from the internationally acclaimed musician Sami Yusuf, this promises to be an inspiring and entertaining night out for the whole family. And if that isn't enough, guests can take additional satisfaction from the thought that all proceedings will go to supporting an exciting new initiative that aims to promote understanding of Islam and Muslims throughout Britain.
