For schools, Ramadhan provides a good opportunity to develop closer links with Muslim parents and communities by displaying a sympathetic and supportive understanding of the meaning of the month of fasting. Schools that work in this way often reap the rewards of greater participation and support for pupils' learning throughout the year.
