I am not sure whether I am contacting the right place however witnessing the events unfolding between Israel and Palestine not just for the past few weeks but for the past number of years I cannot understand "the west's" viewpoint! I am an English citizen, I do not class myself as Muslim yet I choose moslty to learn the lessons that most religions come to tell. My mother is Catholic and I come from a Catholic family and we cannot beleive the sheer naivity of England and negligence at allowing Israel to get away with everything they are doing!
I could go on but I'd prefer to keep this to the one page! I just cannot beleive nothing is being done and then through the cheek and manipulation of Israel the Western world is led (a bit too easily) into thinking it is the Palestinians fault! Merely, classing Palestinians as "terroists" does nothing to help the situation and is far from the truth! I would like to know if there is anything, anything at all I can do to help or highlight what is happening?

As A Christian, I would like to express my deep appreciation for my Muslim friends who have been praying for the people in Bethlehem. For me, Bethlehem is one of our most holy sites. It is a blasphemy against God that the Church of The Nativity should be attacked. I wish to state my abhorrence and horror at the current action by the Israeli government. This is not stopping terrorism but increasing the cycle of war. We have got to find a better way of the faiths living together than this constant return to war.
I grieve for the Palestinians massacred in Jenin and elsewhere. The BBC reported today a Jewish couple in Ramallah who saw piles of glasses that recalled for them Auschwitz. I rpay that more Israelis may hear the horror of what is happening in their name.

The government doesn't give a damn about what you say, keep pleading....., let the current genocide continue like Sabra and Shatila, Bosnia, Kosova, Afghanistan............ What is needed is for you to say something radical in defence of our borthers and sisters, this is the least they deserve! You have established a group that HAS a voice, yet it cannot be heard. I feel that MCB should voice its concern about the suffering of the Palestines. The British government holds up human right, where is the banner for human rights now? I would also like to say that lately hearing the conservatives view on the situation in the Middle East was very disturbing. The conservative party’s leader in the commons expressed the most pro-Israeli and bias view that I have heard ever. I feel that when the MCB will voice it’s on these concern the Palestines will get justice. And I would also be great if you can voice the Muslims populations concern to Tony Blair over the US supply of army worth over 3 billion dollars every year. The Israeli army allows it’s solider to practice target shooting at Palestine children aged 12 to 16 and killing many. Because the stones that the children through scratches their tanks. What is Mr Blair’s view on this? And that the bullets have this printed on them 'Made in USA'. Will the Mr Blair stand 'shoulder to shoulder' with its Ally over this matter? I feel that the MCB should represent the innocent people of Palestine here in Briton, has well as the Muslim people in Britons. May Allah help you in this Just Jihad.
