As a Eurasian living in Britain, I am apalled at this latest outrage in the name of Islam. Islam has shown itself up for what it really is - an evil and barbaric creed that should be wiped from the Earth. Why?

* Indonesia's persecution of the Christian minority * Indonesia's brutality in East Timor * Indonesia's 'Jihad' on the Moluccas * Indonesia's lack of compassion for FELLOW MUSLIM refugees * The Fatwah on Salman Rushdie * Osama bin Ladin (otherwise known as Pork-face) * Afghanistan's trial of the aid workers * Afghanistan's treatment of its female population * Ethiopia's treatment of the Christian South * Nigeria's Muslims wanting impose Sharia law on all its non-Muslim population * Palestinians dancing with delight at the death of innocent people * Saddam Hussein * Mumar Gadaffi * Pakistan's persecution of Christians * The racist Nation of Islam Movement * Iraq's treatment of the Kurds * The way Islam tried to destroy India after Independence * The black community in the north of England openly said on TV that the Muslims were un-cooperative with all other communities * Sikh leaders are talking to the BNP in Southall for fear of Mulsim extremists

shall I go on (and you know I can)? I have considered myself a tolerant and patient person up 'til now. I have tried to understand what is going on in Israel from both sides' point of view. The events in America have changed all that for good. If Israel decides to send in its tanks any day now, I don't think there will be many here now who will bat an eyelid. And if I were in the Whitehouse right now I would be asking for the missile launch sequences and geographical co-ordinates for Kabul, Teheran, Baghdad, Damascus and Tripoli. There is just as much fury in the UK at what happened in the US. I believe people here are just as eagerly awaiting the US response as our great friends in the States. Let's hope it is swift and brutal.

If Muslims believe that suicide bombing of Jews and Christian Infidels is their ticket to Paradise, then every Muslim is an enemy within as far as I am concerned. I will be writing to the Home Office, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Office pleading with them to stop any further immigration from Arab and Muslim countries and to turn back all refugees. The leader of the Nation of Islam should also be banned from entering the UK.

I was very sorry to hear on GMTV this morning that some people have been sending 'hate emails' to your organisation following the events in USA this week.

It is sad that some people cannot see the good in others and make sweeping generalisations about people of other faiths and cultures.

I'd like to say that I spent the 4 happiest years of my life living in a Muslim country, where I came to better understand and to love the people as my neighbours and close friends. I still miss them very much and I know that they will be as sad as I am that anyone could have committed the evil acts we have witnessed this week in America.

I would like to you assure you that I take every possible opportunity to share with others the lessons I learned from living in an Islamic community, and to try to address some of the popular misconceptions some people have about Muslims.

I sincerely hope that Muslims in this country are not made to feel responsible for the actions which may have been committed by a few professing the same faith. (If Christians had to assume responsibility for the actions of the many evil people throughout history who have acted in the name of Christianity we would be hanging our heads in shame for eternity!).

For what it's worth, I send my very best wishes to you and all your members and pray for tolerance and understanding to prevail.

I was dismayed to hear about the undeserved harrassment and threats that your members have received following the events in North America. I wanted to email your organisation as a positive encouragement that this is not a widely held view, and to join with you in condemnation of the events we have witnessed in the States.

I am glad to see that the MCB has dennounced the tragic events in America. It is sad that the vast majority of terrorism is in the name of Islam. It is sad that this Jihad is so primitive. It is sad that there are so many evil seeds sown by the Quran itself, which sees all others as Kafirs. A Muslim sees non-muslims to convert or to kill. The world has had enough, as in your own prphecies, Muslim blood will be spilt. Only the true, Real Muslims shall prevail, those that truly practice and preach peace and love. Mainstream Islam needs to forget the ancient tyrannical teachings of the Quarran and look to people like the Sufis. God help you all.
