In your news release re MCB condemnation of attack in Bali, the Indonesian govt. is urged to ensure that 'internal or external' elements do not make use of the crime for 'nefarious' purposes. Could you please be more explicit? Is this some sort of Monty Pythonesque 'nudge-nudge, wink-wink'?. Would very much appreciate more direct and far less ambiguous language. Thank you

You should not be living in a civilised country like Britain Why don't you be true to your religion and go and live in a Muslim country. Personally I hate Muslims and their evil fascist barbaric ways - George Bush is going to kill many of you - then you can declare your holy war which is what you want - the war against Islam is coming.

It's deeply depressing to read extreme views from morons from both ends of the spectrum, pro-OBL fundamentalists and anti-muslim/racist 'rednecks' both of whom object to any cultural integration. Frankly, narrow-minded bigots like these shouldn't be allowed space in any forum to vent their bile.
It's people like these who are the common enemy to both decent, well-balanced muslims and non-muslims alike and it's up to both sets of communities to weed out these nutcases before they do any real lasting harm. Just because they may share the same colour skin, religion or nationality doesnt mean they're 'brothers/sisters'.

If I may venture an opinion on September 11th it is this, that if one-quarter , or even one-eight or even one-sixteenth of the money spent by americans to arm themselves and to send B52s to momb innocent villagers in third world countries from the safety of 30,000 feet was spent to promote an understanding of why all this mess is happening, we might avert, in the ripeness of time, terrorist activities of this kind, and help the creation of a better world.
