I was very disappointed that you could not find the generosity of spirit to share inthe Holoaust Day remembrance as in Edinburgh recnently. A comparison would have been for Catholics or Protestants throughout the world over the last 35 years to boycott British goods and servcies because of the problems in Northern Ireland., Each area has its peculiar problems. Peopel far away rarely understand except intheir own narow self-interest. If there was far greater concern for the rights of all and for peace the world would be a better place. ~At present narrow interest seems too obvious. A Glasgow Jew was murdered in a bus bomb in Israel but generously gave his organs to a Palestinian child. That surely is something worthy of remembrance and true love of mankind irrespective of narrow interest.Bernarrdo

Get out o MY country

05 February 2003

Dear friends,
I would like to congratulate the Muslim community in the way they have dealt with Abu Hamza - at long last decisive action has now been taken against this lunatic. Giving someone like him a pulpit implies he has authority and legitimacy.
Thank you
Brendan Bassett - Bristol

I am encouraged by moderates within the Muslim Faith but this underlines a deep concern for the actions of radicals. I am a Christian and there have been and still are people within the Christian faith who abuse the meaning of my Faith in the same way that radical Muslim's abuse your Faith. We are all a people created by God, He is our Father and what father would like to see his sons killing one another? We cannot judge one another, that is for God to do but I believe that he will judge us according to our understanding. I believe that people of all Faiths will be judged in a way that will see all people of different Faiths entering into heaven as well as some people within those Faith's being condemned.

I wish you God's Blessing
