JUST TO LET YOU KNOW NOT ALL PEOPLE IN BRITAIN ARE IGNORANT TO THE PLIGHT OF THE MUSLIM PEOPLE. THE MAJORITY OF US UNDERSTAND THAT NOT ALL MUSLIMS CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR TUESDAYS ATTACK. I ALSO FEEL AMERICA MUST TOTALLY RE-THINK FOREIGN POLICY TOWARDS THE MIDDLE EAST.

I watched with disgust the broadcast on TV this morning which said that >Muslims in Britain where coming under, attack as if they where somehow >responsible for the horrors in New York. > >I am not a follower of Islam myself but understand it to be a tolerant >and peaceful religion. >Every religion has its fundamentalists and, and fanatics, this is a sad >fact, and says more about the individuals than it does of a religion. > >Most people in or country will recognise this and will see the utter >stupidity of persecuting fellow Britains for the actions of terrorists.

My family and I are Quakers, and we wish to send you an especial message of peace and goodwill at this particularly difficult time. We are horrified by the bigoted and vicious reaction to the events of last Tuesday, and we are praying for our Muslim compatriots at this time as they face fear, prejudice and intimidation. We are ashamed that this should happen in our country. Please accept our prayers of support at this time.
In peace

I just feel that I must write to condemn the threats on the Muslim school. The vast majority of Muslims are decent human beings as always it is the actions of a fanatical minority that are involved in acts of terrorism. My thoughts are with not only the people of the USA but with the many Muslims worldwide who will suffer the abhorent acts of racism that will undoubtedly occur as people seek retribution for the events in America.

May God bless us all whoever your God may be.

I was very sorry to hear on morning television of the appalling abuse your organisation has received in the wake of the recent horror. I sincerely hope that those here and around the world who want to meet violence with violence, hatred with hatred and fanaticism with fanaticism will not succeed in prolonging the pain inflicted on Tuesday.

The greatest triumph of Evil is not death but hatred. I sincerely hope that Evil will not now make a conquest of nations! If the tragic events in America result in a further escalation of the hatred and conflict that already exists in our troubled world, then evil really will have triumphed over good.
