Dear Sir,

Further to your article in The Times, I can only say that your organisation, so quick to point out the double standards of our elected government and others, is equally guilty of its own. What the Government did in 'our' (Muslims') name? Well, what have Muslims done lately in the name of their faith? Plenty. Let's start with the bombings in Africa, the ongoing genocide in Algeria, September 11, the Bali bomb, the bombing of the synagogue in North Africa where mostly Western tourists were maimed and/or killed, the slaughtering of Hindus in Kashmir, the slaughtering of Christians by Muslims in the Philippines, the slaughtering of Christians at worship by Muslims in Pakistan, East Timor, Nigeria et al...not to mention the generally oppressive and extremely intolerant regimes in most Muslim countries, have I forgotten anything?

I'm sure there's more. That's all in the name of Islam. You talk of ETA and the IRA not being labelled as Christian terrorists but neither organisation ever owned up to their atrocities by declaring they were in the name of the Pope and/or Catholocism did they? And, if you weren't English or Spanish, you really didn't have to worry about getting blown-up anywhere else in the World, unlike Muslim terrorist groups which are in the hundreds (maybe thousands) and seemingly everywhere. The IRA and ETA, that's 2, the Bader-Meinhoff gang - now defunct - that's 3. How many more European terrorist organisations? Maybe another 2? Please, get real and stop the hypocrisy and as so many others have noted, if you don't like life in the West and it is not in keeping with your religious beliefs remember, the U.K is a secular/Christian country and you can always leave. As far as I know, Muslims didn't get a specially, engraved, gilt-edged invitatation to come here. I trust this letter will be given the same prominence as your sympathisers but I doubt it.

Just a quick word to tell you that we are horrified by the war in Iraq and Britain's involvement in the latest act of aggression by the imperialistic plans of America. That this super power can lay waste to the cradle of civilisation is a graphic indication of its own barbarism.
Lets hope it stops immediately.

Regards.

Dear Mr Bunglawala

As with the coalition troops, this country has attempted to protect UK Muslims from attack. I witnessed your appearance on the Littlejohn TV show a few months ago and was sceptical about your attitude then. At least the other Muslim had the guts to say what he felt. Why have you not supported or condemned Saddam and his cowardly terrorist tactics? Do you consider yourself British? If so why no Muslim support for our brave lads from you? Simple questions I believe.
