I am an Indian who was born in the UK and I am not involved in any religion. I am deeply saddened by the brutal attacks by the coalition forces on Iraqi civillians. I think that your organisation should get in touch with the BBC and Sky news and demand that they stop their strict censorship of the war. The British public are beeing shielded from the reality of war and this is wrong. I think that if people were shown the reality of war then their would be an even bigger opposition to this crime which is beeing committed. I know a lot of people who wish that victory comes to the Iraqi people.

I read your nonsense and again hear nothing about the American freedom fighters some of whom have given up their lives for muslims. Where is your so called charity and humanity. No where as usual. You are only interested in disseminateing your disgusting propoganda. Its time you left this country. Britain for the British. If your heart is not here Go, please go.

God Bless America and their FREEDOM FIGHTERS.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to make a suggestion to the Muslim Council of Britain on the shifting situation in Iraq and the pictures that are being fed into most newswires throughout the UK. It is imperative that the Muslim Council of Britain make an urgent press release along the lines of "whilst the war has cost many civilian and combatant lives, it is imperative that aid agencies such as the Red Crescent, Islamic Relief and the United Nations be allowed to centrally co-ordinate the enormous effort of sustaining more than 60% of the population of Iraq. Many of these people (around 50% of the population) are children under the age of 16."

This press release will be welcomed at this time. Hope the idea develops into fruition.
Regards,

Brothers and Sisters

I have today read of a most upsetting thing I read a artical describing how a Old lady's body was desecrated after her sad death I belive this incident happened in A west London Hospital.

I have over the last few years received many kind and helpful words and deeds from Muslims and I am ashamed at belonging to a group of people that would do this My anger is almost uncontrollable I ask you to understand that the people who did this were not acting as sane people and in my opinion were showing no behaviour that would be right or good in fact they have shown the struggle and the pain that a Nobel and good people have had to suffer for years. I am so sorry for the family and for all Muslims and wish that I could say more and do more to explain my feelings

May i express my sorrow and hurt and hope u will understand how I as a human feel at this distatfull act

Regards B Marklew

Dear MCB,

I understand that the Muslim Council of Britain is primarily concerned with British Muslim matters, and not foreign affairs. However, you have given support, with your affliated organisations, to anti war protests regarding Iraq. I was wondering if now was the time to begin making statements regarding Muslim countries and their actions, otherwise we muslims will end up looking hypocritical and one sided.

I am referring to today's news that Syria has expelled many Iraqi refugees, including many children, for no clear reason. I realise that it was easier to make statements on the war since Britain itself was involved, but surely you or one of your affiliates like MAB can speak up to show that we do not condone evil done by muslims like the Syrians against others (like the muslim Iraqi refugees).

Yours faithfully
