Dear BBC

I hope that you will consider carefuly not to air the miss leading PROGRAM SPOOK ,for the sake of selfrespect, the human dignity and Rights you claim to defend globaly.Human beings consist of good and evil at any place and in any religion and ideology. If one insist to focus on every single negative thing in the West, like social and moral sicknesses like incest, rape, murder, domestic violence,it would,nt give the true picture of what the British people stands for, would it?
Maybe Muslims struggle with ignorance ,fanaticism and other evils, like other people in the World, and need constructive soul searching criticism, but thats not the way by un fair humiliation and creation of a newkind of antisemetism and dangerious Islamophobia..
In the name of God I hereby ask you to be conscious and fair in this respect.
Sincerely

B.Aminah Rolsdorph

Dear who ever it may concern

I have just e-mailed the BBC to request the immediate removal of the Drama 'Spooks' from our TV screens. I have just watched a clip from the second episode and I am saddened and disgusted at how Muslims are being portrayed.
Especially given current world affairs I feel that this programme is wholy inappropriate.
Questions need to be asked about the making of this programming, including, which Muslim organizations were contacted before this programme was aired? Do you know that two Muslim women have been attacked on a bus and have been called 'spooks'? I feel that this information should concern the BBC enough to warrant a re-think of this programme. I am concerned for the Muslim community and the repurcussions that this programme will have. It is a work of fiction, however, with naming places like Birmingham it has been linked with real life.
Is it possible for you to take up this story. It is a concern for the Muslim community and for all who are interested in the accuracy of our TV programmes.
Regards,

Farzana Khundmir, London

regarding bbc spooks why are you upset?
at last the bbc are finally showing what does actually go on in the so called "religous" mosques.!!
mosques have been and will remain nothing more than breeding grounds for terrorists and anti western society.
WHY do your members of islam stay here?
you take our benefits
you take our houses
you take our jobs
you get our laws changed to suit you
you hate anything english(except benefits)
you create slums
you create high crime rates
you drug deal
if islam is so wonderful why dont all muslims go back to their countries?
because they know we are a soft touch
well i was very pleased to see the bnp do well
and also i laughed when i saw a mosque had been attacked maybe at last the true english are seeing you for what you all really are. as for the actor calling all white girls sluts on the bbc prog i take very great exception to it
i dont suppose i will get a reply

I am writing to complain about a programme shown on the BBC on Monday the 9th of June called Spooks. It showed muslims in a mosque planning a suicide bomb and it later showed a young asian boy commiting suicide around british police. I believe that this is increasing to the anti-muslim sentiment in this country and at a time where muslim and non-muslim relations are already tense. A mosque is a place of worship and should not be portrayed as a place of violence - it is a house of allah.
I have already written to the BBC to show my disgust at this programme, and I feel strongly that the muslim council of britain should stand up to the BBC and prevent them from portraying muslims like this. It is wrong and this is not the stereotype of muslims at all. All this is doing is causing a greater divide. I would like the muslim council of Britain, as a large organisation representing British Muslims to stand up to the BBC, demand a public apology and push for the prevention of promoting anti-islamic sentiment. This is too sensitive a time to be taking such matters lightly.

Wassalam

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am alarmed by the wreckless behaviour of the BBC. It is cheap and nasty of them to screen this, assuming that the public is aware that the story is fictional and there will be no detrimental effect on the Muslim community. Please note that although I am a Hindu, I am very concerned that your place of worship is being desecrated and debased by this stupid programme.
My personel view is that you should take the BBC and in particular, Ms Lorraine Heggessey the Controller of BBC One to the European Court of Human Rights. Her high handed decision will has compromised the Muslim community's "Freedom of thought, conscience and religion". As such you should follow it through.

Good Luck
