| The MCB has expressed its outrage at the police harassment of an eminent
Islamic scholar earlier this week. On Tuesday night, 11th November 2003,
Shaykh Yusuf Motala, former Rector of Islamic seminary in Bury, Lancashire
and one of the most highly respected religious leaders, was travelling to
the Holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia, when he was detained and questioned
by police at Heathrow Airport for almost seven hours causing him to miss
his Ramadan pilgrimage.
Asalamu Alaikum, I would just like to express my great sadness and extreme
anger at the above story, I just can't believe how they treated our shiekh
in this manner, Hazrat is respected widley not only in this country but
around the world. please keep me up to date by email. I would just like
to thank mbc who are at least trying there best challenge his questioning
i wish you all the success, I can assure you that I am not alone in
expressing this view.

Congratulations on your defence of British Muslims in the face of the recent Islamophobic remarks by Denis MacShane MP. I enclose a copy of my letter to the Prime Minister regarding MacShane's remarks. I understand from an article in the Guardian (28/11/03, MacShane faces revolt...) that Denis MacShane MP is to have talks with the Muslim Council of Britain. I am sure you will communicate to Mr MacShane the depth of the offence he has caused, and I urge you to tell him that many Muslim voters feel he must either apologise unequivocally for his comments, or resign.

Although I am a Christian I am deeply offended by the comments made by the minister for europe Dennis MacShane. I believe that to insult Islam is to insult God and therefore Christians should also feel insulted by the miniters remarks. Like Christianity, Islam is a peacefull religeon and I see no reason why Muslims and Christians cannot live peacefully together.
I will be emailing the minister to demand a personal appology. Perhaps the MCB could set up an online petition as away of obtaining a full appology from the minister? I would gladly sign it.

Your pleas for condemnation of the actions of these Islamic scumbag cowards will fall on deaf ears amongst Muslims.
Muslims are not reasonable people. They wish to DOMINATE, DOMINATE and DOMINATE at the expense of every non Muslim.
Just look at the way they are trying to take over in our country. In almost every aspect of our lives we find Muslims criticising, preaching, drug dealing to our children.
Muslims are not human, they are animals!! They have no place in this country and should be driven out at the point of a gun.
Every day now we see news items about Muslims living amongst us being arrested with explosives in their possession. We can't carry on with this cancer in our society.
Hitler had the right idea. Just a shame that he didn't herd the Muslims into the gas chambers instead of the Jews.
This country really does need to wake up fast to the danger that we are in. Come on!! Let us not be lectured to by these murderous, self serving barbarians any more. Let us not stand back in the name of "political correctness" and watch the Muslim hordes devour our country and impose their backward values upon us. Let us not stand by and simply let these filthy, stinking ANIMALS strap explosives to themselves in busy shopping centres in this country to blow themselves up along with OUR people in the crazy illusion that THEIR god will thank them for it.
We need to act NOW!! Fight back against the Islamic agenda for Britain. Kick them back to the shitholes of the world where they belong. Just expel them from this country and other CIVILISED countries of the world.

Maybe many in Britain are becoming sick and tired of listening to muslim "outrage" all of the time. Grow up. The fact that you cannot take any critisism only justifies what many fear, that muslims are at worst supporters of terrorism and at best are anti western and loathe the democratic values which are so alien to them. instead of constantly asking for non muslims to apologise to you, you should begin to condemn the disgracful muslim terrorists and those who preach hatred. Then perhaps people will not think of islam as an intolerant religion of violence and hatered that is so insecure, it cannot withstand the slightest word said against it.
