Despite the horror I feel over Tuesdays events, I cannot support the racist actions threatened by some people against the muslim community.

It is very worrying that these so called 'Christians' can't see the difference between ordinary muslims and these terrorists.

I hope that the situation doesn't escalate into more hate; there is enough of that in the world already.

I cannot express how saddened I am to hear that you are receiving messages of hate towards all Muslim people. I know a great many healers are working very hard during this difficult time sending love, light and prayers to everyone affected by the current crisis. ALL people, however affected.
May Peace and Understanding Reign.
Love Light and Blessings,

>I was distressed to hear the news this morning that you have been subjected to hate mail and wanted to show my solidarity with you, as a non-muslim, and let you know that not everyone in this country feels the same way. As always, it is the minority that shouts the loudest while the majority shake their heads in disbelief. I, for one, do not think these hotheads, racists, call them what you like, truly represent the people of this country. And all I can do, in my own small way, is apoligise for their stupidity and let you know they do not represent the view of the majority.

Only a fool could believe that the Muslim faith is directly involved in the terror and carnage in America. A parallel would be to say all Christians should be demonised for the actions of the Oklahoma bomber, Timothy Mcveigh. I hope, believe and pray that we can come together as a nation and perhaps, as a global, united, community to eliminate evil, in all its forms, in the aftermath of this terrible tragedy.
Praise the Lord, Allah Aqbar

I just wanted to write and say that I am so sorry people are hitting out at Muslims. I am a white, Christian woman and I am horrified to hear that people are reacting like this. I believe they just don't know better. Whatever our religious differences, no normal human being can condone this, and I know you feel the same. I don't know any person who would condone attacks on Muslims either, these are a mindless minority.

I hope they see the error of thinking this way as soon as possible, they just don't understand.....that probably doesn't help I know, but that's the key, they just don't understand. For me, I will do the best I can, in my small way to spread a non-violent message.

I am an American living in Britain. I have a University degree in English Lit Religious Studies and so have done some reading on Islam. In spite of this I feel that I really do not understand the view of America held by, apparently, most Islamic people. I am not connecting this to the horrible acts of the last week, but they have brought these questions back to my mind.

I wonder if someone would talk to me or correspond with me on this question. I would really like to understand. Maybe I could even contribute to someone else's understanding of Americans
