Dear MCB,
You must be very happy about the ruling and as a Jew I understand how
important such issues are especially in today's society where tradition
and modesty is very often misinterpreted or looked down upon as some old
fashioned outdated idea.
Anyway with this story and other related ones in the news I had an idea
where the Muslim community could express themselves in an even greater
way in promoting the true meaning of Islam.
If the MCB could start a campaign for Muslims by wearing a green bow
or ribbon that represents their disassociation of the terrorists who are
killing many fellow Muslims as well as others in the name of Islam, as
these terrorists have caused this current Islam phobia that has caused
many people to equated many Muslims as terrorist suspects.
The Muslim community would be doing a great justice to itself by making
this stand and not allow any more such groups from high jacking Islam
who through their actions have made Islam be perceived as a religion of
fear, violence and intolerance.
The ribbons could bear the Message ''not in our name'' or '' not in the
name of Islam'' referring to so called Islamic terrorist groups who
claim wrongly to be acting as Muslims and on behalf of Islam.
The pins/ribbons could be bought and the proceeds given to victims of
terror or similar charities, this could be a great opportunity to allow
a voice to the vast majority of Muslims to be heard and to show every
one that they are nothing to do with, or connected to, and disassociate
themselves with terror and support peace.
With what is going on in the Middle East at the moment there is allot of
positive things that need all of our support this is one more step to
achieve such things. as every little step is closer to what we all
aspire to.

As a non Muslim Englishman I support entirely the right of all religions
to be respected and understand and agree with your comments on the
Shabina Begum decision.
However your report was limited. As a person who works with children,
including Muslims, for the very first time this caused heated
discussion within our mixed religious group, with the Muslim children
expressing views similar to those I give below.
The behaviour of the "touchy feely" male on television whose attentions
were accepted,even apparently welcomed, by Miss Begum were in direct
contradiction to her wishes to "protect women" in the broadest sense by
the wearing of a jilbab.
Her "political speech" had little do with her religious feelings but
seemed to be designed to pour scorn and anger at her perception of the
attitudes of her fellow citizens to Muslim people. This "political
speech" was clearly influenced by other "advisers" trying to cause
friction between Muslims and the rest of the nation.
I am disappointed that you gave unreserved support for the courts
decision but made no comment about the need for us all to work and live
together without acrimony.
This school had taken every step to respect the rules and guidance of
the Muslim religion even to seeking advice from the elders. This
country is tolerant to an extreme.
For the first time in my life I felt anger about Muslim attitudes and
the intolerance and bigotry displayed against British non Muslims.
I had to remind myself that this is a minority Muslim view. I just
wish that you would be brave enough to point this out in your statements.

As a member of the increasingly downtrodden and derided 'Majority
Community' of this country, I have to tell you that today's ruling
regarding the Muslim gown fills me with utter dismay.
Being specific for a moment, the notion that school uniform is just that
- uniform, has been a part of British education for decades. It affords
the wearer, whatever their background, rich or poor, white or black,
Christian or Atheist, the ability to mix freely without prejudice.
Secondly, school uniform promotes a sense of belonging, gives a school
outward identity and crucially, helps to enforce school discipline i.e
the individual cannot just do as they like but, must conform to the
school rules and terms of behaviour.
This case has shattered those tried and tested reasons and the
floodgates will now open for anyone to contest the wearing of school
uniform on religious or personal grounds. What next, jeans, baseball
caps, Jewish skull caps, dyed hair, offensive T-shirts; the list is
endless. It won't just stop with religious garments believe me.
Broadening the debate for a moment. The fundamental and underlying
problem with ethnic minorities in the UK and in particular, the Muslim
'Community' is you never seem to stop and ponder a. why our laws
and customs are what they are or how they came to be like they are or
b. what it is you can do to assimilate to 'our' way of life; you appear
to always want this and that changed to accommodate your culture and
religion and like the soft sods we are we give in to your ever
increasing demands. Fairly soon I fear, the majority culture of this
country will become so diluted as to almost cease to exist.
It appears to me, that minorities such as yourselves are implementing a
carefully conceived plan to gradually erode the majority culture and as
a result for instance, ALL women will be required to dress modestly and
be the inferior of men and more worryingly, all laws and customs will
have to brought in line to accommodate religious beliefs at the expense
of Common Law which has evolved over the centuries. Therein lies the
irony of course, British Law will itself be exploited by groups such as
yourselves until it becomes redundant.
I question your allegiance to this country because and correct me if I'm
wrong, your 1st loyalty lies with your God and not to the Head of State
and in turn to the country. I fear there will be turbulent times ahead
in this small, overcrowded little island, if people like yourselves
don't stop forcing your beliefs and customs on the majority and try
instead to integrate both in mind and in body.
Finally, I might surprise you when I say that I AM open to persuasion
and the other person's point of view. Therefore, if you were to suggest
I read any Islamic material or meet with some of your community
representatives, I would consider it very carefully.

| I have just come past grosvenor square and was met by a horde of screaming
soppy muslims hollering and shouting outside the UNITED STATES Embassy.
Some of allahs little arseholes wanted to bomb the USA
They might well be advised not to shout too loud about bombing the USA -
perhaps the Americans might start shouting "Nuke all muslim countries" and
perhaps "allahs arseholes" should remember that this country is the USA's
biggest ally and if they don't like then I'm sure they know what to do
- piss off out of it and take their stupid book of fiction with them.
My old man spent 4 years in a german prisoner of war camp before escaping
after haviing to walk the length of Yugoslavia - as far as I am concerned
the muslim faith, the koran and all of you who have "invaded" this country
are desecrating his memory and thousands of indigenous soldiers like
him.
On his behalf take your koran and shove it up your arse.

Where's the apologies from Muslims concerning Saudi Arabia conficasting
Bibles from passengers arriving into their country and shredding them?

you're such a tolerant and peaceful religion! And that's one sorry example.

Hmm let’s see. Piss Christ exhibit (crucifix in urine.) Josephs tomb
destroyed in Hebron. Rabbi killed defending Torah. Babiyan Budda blown up
in Afghanistan. Horrible riots follow, right? Wrong. Quaran flushed down
the toilet. (Apparently false story) riots, 16 dead, 100+ injured.
Beheadings, prison for having a bible in S’audi Arabia etc.
Islam is a primitive religion. It is a little Christianity, Judaism,
Zoroastriaism and lest we forget abit of shamanism (gotta march around the
meteor.)
First you want to kill the Jews. Then the Chrisitans. Then the Buddists.
Then the Hindus. Then ultimately Muslims will kill Muslims.
Islam is a primitive religion. It stands where Christianity stood 800 years
ago. It is a religion without a shepherd. While Osama squats and shits in
bushes (his time is near) don’t you think if aroused to a certain degree
that the west will destroy you?
Islam isn’t the creator or purveyor of anything in the world. It is a
leech. It is not God’s religion.
Sooner or later we won’t need your oil. Then what? You can spend your time

Organizing a protest in London, chanting "desecrate today, another 9/11
tomorrow"....."kill, kill USA, kill, kill George Bush" and so on.......is a
slap in the face to your "so-called" peace loving religion. If you knew the
facts of the Newsweek atricle and how the Democrats in this GREAT country of
mine wants Muslims to hate the US, you would see that you are in the wrong.
But I would never expect that from an organization that supports terrorism
and the low-lifes that bomb their own people daily, terrorists that are too
scared to show their own faces, terrorists that don't have the balls to show
their own faces. Cowards like these and the people who support them
have no use to this planet. Keep chanting your bullshit....the US is
watching and the US public is growing weary of us making you peons "angry"
with putting underwear on Abu Ghraib prisoners heads, with "so-called"
desecration of the Koran and showing Saddam Hussein in his underwear.....all
along you KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE with beheadings. True believers of your
religion would not act in this manner, the Muslim faith was not created for
death, just interpreted that way by extremists.

To whom it may concern:
I just read a news article discussing the protests regarding the false
Newsweek reports about the defacing of the Koran. In this report it
mentioned that your organization sponsored the demonstrations as is your
right in England-or the US for that matter. Question I have is would you
have the right to demonstrate in virtually any Islamic country-the answer is
no. I also read that the demonstrators chanted that they want another 911
in New York. Let me be clear-anyone who says that is offending the
Koran-Islam at one time was the religon that kept mankind from the dark
ages-now it propels us to the dark ages. If you believe in God-you should
be ashamed. I pray for your souls that your ignorance is washed away.
Look into your twisted souls for your own redemption-and anyone who wishes
death on the US can go to hell.
