Your false words of sorrow will be treated with the contempt they deserve.

You are not wanted here, so go peacefully.

Otherwise....

I am so sorry that you have received abusive emails >from people who are just as fanatical as the WCT terrorists. I am a white, >Christian UK citizen, but not once have I thought of the Muslim people as >evil. Every race and religion has a minority of fanatics who turn evil, >and I want you to know that I support the rational Muslim people. My >sympathies to you for all those insults you have received. I know that the >majority of Muslim people are shocked and disgusted at the US tragedy. >Once again, I am so sorry that you are being treated this way.

I am writing to express my sorrow that British muslims have felt threatened by a possible backlash after this terrible incident in America.I hope that the leaders of our country will steer a moderate course at this present time when the emotion of anger is running high. Too often the extremists of society are given a voice in the media becuase they are by nature more aggressive in their emotional expression.

Is there any way that this event could provide an opportunity for the moderate people of Britain to come together to express their unity, their respect for the sanctitiy of life and their desire for peace in Britain in the 21st century? I for one would like this to happen.

I am writing to say how horrified I was to hear of the abusive emails you have been receiving in the wake of the WTC attack.

I can only say I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive the morons who have allowed the mob mentality take over their civilised minds. At the same time we all need to try to forgive those idiots we saw celebrating this terrible event.

Lets please everyone remember that the vast majority of people in the world are peace loving and tolerant and try not to let a few hate filled maniacs ruin all our lives.

I am writing to express my support of the British and wider Muslim community in the light of the reported hate mail campaigns which have unfortunately followed the atrocity in New York.

I would like to express my dismay at some of the media reporting which has referred constantly to Islamic fundamentalists as the prime suspects of the terrible terrorist attacks in the US. It seems that it is far to early to start apportioning blame for the terrible events in the US and that anyway reports should only name specific terrorist groups that are suspected of involvement and have no business referring to the wider Muslim community as being in some way culpable.

Indeed, it seems to me that the religion of such groups is hardly relevant as they operate on their own agendas and without the blessings of the wider community. I realise that all too often the Muslim community gets bad press in this way and wish that the media was more responsible in this light.

I, of course, condemn the terrorist action in America but also condemn these hate campaigns and hope that the Muslim community is aware that these messages of hatred directed towards you in no way reflect my, or I hope, the majority view.
