keep up the good work MCB.

There may be millions of people who have no knowledge or understanding of Islam yet are ready to pronounce hatred against it and it's followers, but don't give up. People do not blame the general Christian society for the actions of the IRA and despite London being bombed on numerous occasions by them Britain has not turned around and bombed them back despite knowing the identity of the culprits, but when a muslim commits an act of terrorism it does not seem to matter to the people how many innocent lives are lost in killing the culprit. These are the double standards for Islam. Your voice may seem to be a lone one fighting to present the true Islam which as a word actually means peace, but there are millions of muslims out there, myself included, who appreciate your work. Don't give up. Thankyou.

Please know that not all non Muslims harbour any ill feelings towards any Muslims in Britain. I am saddened to hear of the horrendous bigotry and abuse that you have had to put up with over the last few days. I am sure that these fools are using the attacks in America as some kind of sick justification of their racist beliefs.

I am a white, British Christian and I am happy that our country has a rich mix of cultures, do not be dis-heartened by these bigots, the vast majority of people understand that Islam had absolutely nothing to do with these horrors and we welcome you.

I am only 15 years old and i do not belive in race religon or colour, but yet i do not belive in organised religon and what has happened proves my point i was baptised into a corrupt religon and i have to say islam is just as currupt as the vatican. I understand that your religon belives in justice and not revenge but these people who are bombing innocent civillians believe they are doing it for Allah and some musilms are declaring a jhiad in this country. At my school i study religon and im top of my class ive studied islam, christianity and judaism and have come to the conclusion that religon is nothing more than away of gaining power by using people and their faith in God this is not found just in islam but christianity to our religons have clashed more than once. I dont know why fight we worship the same god and have similar ideals but race hate due to rligon is rife in this country and muslems declaring a jhiad on british soil is inciting more hate towards your religon what are you to do about it i dont want my country in a civil war and i dont want to loose my good friend Asmat Khan through it i will never hate your people but others will if these extreemists keep entising the muslem community to a jhiad can you do anything to prevent this? I want to feel safe in my own home i live near to a large muslem community in Bolton God Help us all and forgive those who trespass against you a.k.a those who write hate mail to you.

Mrs M Morris

Please accept my deepest thanks and gratitude for the brave and sensible stance you have taken in the wake of the terrible tragedy that has taken place in New York. Your calm and gentle approach has done a lot to bring home to ordinary people the truth that the vast majority of Muslims in this country are gentle and peace loving people and are our friends, not people to be hated and distrusted.

I am a practising Catholic and my religion means a great deal to me. In our Church last Sunday and today we lit a special candle and said special prayers for those lost in the tragedy, those left behind, and for the Muslims whom we live and work alongside in our community and the wider world.

May God bless you always for your efforts to promote peace and harmony.
