First, I wish to convey my support to the true Muslim community in both the UK and abroad, also to air the fact that many Muslims must also have perished in the cowardly actions of Sept. 11th. carried out in 'their' name?

I was raised as a Christian and believe all men are equal. I believe in the Ten Commandments and have tried to be worthy of my faith.

But, when I see so-called 'Holy Leaders' of Islam living by the gun, killing in its name, and 'fighting' for Islam, I wonder 'Why' we have any religions at all. Religion has caused so many wars to-date and the stupid thing is; we nearly all believe in the same 'God', the same 'Writings', and the same 'Laws'!

When will this world wake-up and stop blaming anothers religion for their own failings. This includes All faiths. All religions, races, colours, etc., have their 'Bad Apples' - so let us care for the good ones and safeguard everyone against the illness brought to us by the bad.

May your God go with you.

I am writing to you to express how truly saddened I am at the hate that has come out and been expressed to those of your community. I am a Christian and an American, and I am deeply grieved to see your people persecuted and targeted as has increasingly taken place. This is unjustifiable, regardless of the surrounding circumstances. Though I cannot directly prevent any given incident directed towards your people, I do want you to know that there are those of us who hurt for the way so many have suffered, not only because of the attacks in the US, but also in the expressions of misdirected and vengeful anger since then. Please get the word out!

As salamoalykum Warhamatullah I have spent more than five hours in reading e. mails posted on this subject. Fortunately, letters with positive views outnumbers the letters projecting total ignorance towards Islam and Muslims. As a Chair of MuslimWelfare Trust, and as an active member of many other voluntary/community groups I wish to thank all those who have either been sympathetic to us or have written against the racist/prejudiced remarks--on behalf of all of us, perhaps on behalf of the entire Muslim Community. I will only make a request to other friends to be familiar with Islam, it's philosophy and it's teaching before arriving to any conclusion. On reflection I consider it as my fault in failing to convey the correct message of Islam.

No one in their right mind can support what happened on 11th September and equally no one can justify attacks on innocent Muslims in West or in USA. All of us strive for justice....A ray of hope is offered by people who has taken a stand in condemning or distancing themselves from racist ignorant. May I thank you all for your support and assurances in this difficult time? THANK YOU.

I have read your statement on the website, and I agree that an entire group should not be blamed for the actions of a few. But when people in London use he right of free speech to support this type of terror, how does a person keep a wall between the people who did it and the muslim community? The people in Pakistan say the same things as the people in London claiming that America would be declaring war. Wasn't war declared by the people who siezed the planes and killed over 6000 people? My brother lives in New York. He, thank God is safe. How can holy Jihad be called to defend the perpertrators of acts like this?

God/Allah help us all in the coming months.

British Government was blamed by the European Court shooting Irish 'Freedom Fighters'. The long term for bombing of innocent people in Britain was financed by the United States. The British Government went for justice not vengeance and even released these terrorists and a short time of imprisonment.
