Dear Sirs
I am not a muslim, But I am fearful of the pro suicide views of some of the young muslims reported in the Daily Mail over the last week, Any group who would like to be a suicide bomber and bomb Whitehall should not be free to walk the streets and incite or people to do the same. They end there statements with "Allah is great"
Its seems to me that these people hide behind, and have hijacked your religion to suit there needs and it needs the real fight against terrorism to come from within the Muslim faith to ostracise these people and the holy men from the highest possible standing in the Muslim religion to cast out these views and inform these people that that gates of heaven will not be open to murderers.
I do not beleive any good would act like a gangster and welcome people who cause such death to innocent people.
Good luck with your task, It will be carried out by only the brave, the very people a god would want in his heaven.

May I express my disgust and shame at the nature of the e-mails that you have been receiving and the behaviour of people in the community as a result of the action of a small number of yet to be properly identified people in the United States.
Those who behave in this way are clearly unable to distinguish the difference between terrorists and the vast majority of Muslims. I can only think this is based around racial prejudice and ignorance of their fellow human beings and of the Islamic faith, but this in no way excuses their behaviour.
I would like you to know that my family, and any of my colleagues and friends that I have discussed this with share my disgust and repugnance at their behaviour. I hope you are able to distinguish their behaviour as hopefully being reflective of a minority, and recognise that the unfortunately too often silent majority probably feel as we do. I really hope that this is the case, and will be working hard to communicate that to anyone I know and help top make it true.
I wish I could share this with all of the Muslim and Asian communities in Britain. My wife said she feels like going up to everyone she sees who she thinks may be Muslim or Asian and apologising to them. I just want to go out and find the bigots and ask them whether they will leave our country so the rest of us can enjoy the diversity and richness that our shared cultures have brought to Britain.
Please accept our apologies and intentions of support,
Lancaster

Hi,
I would like to apologise on behalf those who've been sending hatemail to the MCB. Please believe me when I tell you that these people are in the minority, and their views are in no way representative of the feelings of non-Muslims. I am saddened and deeply ashamed of their behaviour. The root of the problem, I think, lies in the ridiculous and highly offensive media (mis)representation of Islam in the UK recently. People who are able to think for themselves, do so. Others let the Daily Mail or the London Evening Standard do their thinking for them, resulting, amongst other things, in the barely-literate vitriol which you have had to suffer recently.
Hatred, ignorance and intolerance is a cancer in our society. Humanity would do well to remember at this time that it's easy to hate, but infinitely more difficult to understand.
If there is anything I can do to help, at this difficult time, please let me know.
Best Wishes

Hi,I just thought I would like to say how I feel about the world and u.s.
situation at the moment.I am a British person and would like to say that
most british people I know are against this war, most of us do not blame
the islamic peoples,we know the trouble is caused by the few, and that means
on both sides ,in every culture you will find this, the islamic peoples give
as much to our society as anyone else and bring a richness to our land,I know
that many british people feel this, yes! there are also those of our
country that act towards other race people in the most awfull manner, but they are
also only a few, consider this a letter of support as you also go through
your darker times,love and peace,john.
