"Muslims in Britain and around the world feel a huge sense of fear, vulnerability and insecurity in the wake of Tuesday's awful event" Where there is fear there is guilt. The innocent have no fear. When shall I hear from the MCB a clear apology for the actions of their Muslim associates upon New York? A bit of humility now will do more than anything else to bring Muslims and others together.

Dear Sirs,

I refer to a statement made by one of your members in regard to Margaret Thatcher's comments that Muslims in this country have not denounced in sufficient terms, the attack on the World Trade Centre I believe this is essentially a correct assement of your position by the greatest living British politician in the country. When someone of such stature makes a comment in those terms, it is time for the British people to take heed.Quite honestly, to hear some of your members to talk in terms of a referral of her to the Crown Prosecution Service, is a sick joke and one that has doubtless angered many. Frankly, she did more for this country than any of your members could ever achieve. I do wonder how much Norman Tebbit was correct when he talked in terms of a "cricket test".

Non-Muslims call for peace/diplomacy/justice = Liberals Muslims call for peace/diplomacy/justice = Fanatics/Traitors Equality and freedom must be fought for. Don't give up the struggle.

I can understand the mcb stance on military attacks possibly expanding through the greater Muslim world but at the same time I see no one on the mcb prescribing a condemnation and or policy/plan to make Islamic extremism "socially unacceptable" in the very countries the mcb is professing to be concerned about. I am Muslim and I believe that any countries (foreign policy or not) civilian population comes under attack it has a responsibility to strike back if not to protect said population to at the very least let the present attackers as well as possible future attackers know that murder can not be committed with total impunity. I am in no way defending the foreign policy of any expansionist nations but neither do support violence against people who's only crime is to go to work, love their families an pay their taxes. I suggest that in the future, to do more than just condemn the terror attacks by stating support for a popular movement that does not tolerate even violent religious "rhetoric" by supposed religious "leaders" because they are doing just that,.... "leading". I find it if not interesting, troubling that to this day the most horrific violence committed all over the world is committed by people that profess to believe in a god. perhaps "Mars" would be a more appropriate god for theses people to worship. In the simplest of terms you are truly either against violence against civilians or for it,.... there is no middle ground regardless of how complicated the issues. Praise be Allah

>Why does your religion compel you not to support your government. Your government is going to war against an enemy who has killed your country's citizens in New York. I am a christian but I had no problems against supporting NATO when it attacked christian Serbia, and remeber we were fighting to protect Muslims. I think it is time to seperate your religion from other countries because at the moment you appear to have very selective loyalty. Fanatics of any faith should be condemmed. If these were crazy Christian terrorists then I would support their eradication. You need to come to terms with the fact that Muslims and Christians can do eveil- eg Mr Milosovich and his Christian butchers who murdered and raped innocent Muslim men and women.
