The Muslim Council of Britain encourages all British Muslims fully participate in Britain's democracy and civic life.
Muslims should vote because:
- It is their Islamic obligation to participate in civic society and seek the common good with others
- To have their voice heard as British citizens and as Muslims
- To stop the far right from gaining a foothold in our political culture
- Ten Reasons to vote in the European Elections
How should I vote?
The MCB is a non-partisan body that does not endorse any one political party. Muslims should vote as citizens on issues that are important to them. MCB encourages Muslims to fully participate in Britain’s democratic traditions and exercise their vote.
The MCB does, however, seek to facilitate discussion and inform the debate. |
