Warmly invite you to drop in and join the interfaith vigil: ‘Showing solidarity with the people of Iraq’ and affirming the message:

#WeAreAllHuman

With the Most Rev & Rt Hon Justin Welby, Archbishop of CanterburyImam Ibrahim Mogra, Ayatollah Dr Sayed Fazel Milani,  Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner and other senior religious leaders from across the country.

On: Wednesday 3rd September, 11.30am – 12.30pm

At: the Innocent Victims Memorial in Westminster Abbey, London
Please arrive: West Doors of Westminster Abbey on The Sanctuary

UK religious leaders are coming together to show that despite attempts to divide and target people along religious lines in Iraq – whether Yazidi, Christian, Sunni or Shia – #WeAreAllHuman and we stand together, united against the gross violation of human rights in Iraq and in support of all those in need, regardless of race or religion.

The event will involve 2 or 3 short reflections that will be followed by a moment of silent prayer. MPs and Peers are also participating at this important interfaith vigil.

To show our solidarity and to highlight the message all those who attend will be invited to stand together holding a #WeAreAllHuman banner. The picture will then be released to the media.
